Asian PaCIVICS is a new television and radio series that features ten artists from the Asian American and Pacific Islander community who have written a song specifically to drive social change. Each has partnered with a grassroots organization in unique ways to support a chosen causes.

LA-based emo/pop-punk artist and brain tumor survivor with a passion for healthcare access.

FIONA DAWN

Seattle songwriter who cares deeply about fighting cyberbullying and self-care.

MICAH HUANG

Musician, storyteller and advocate based in MA who focuses on financial mobility and security for communities.

KAI TEA

So CA artist who seamlessly blends jazz and pop. She is writing about mental health for AAPI communities.

SERIN OH

Ohio-based songwriter and pop artist who is working to address issues that drive the loneliness epidemic.

JORDAN VANHEMERT

OK-based Saxophonist and composer working to share the deep importance of Asian American history.

JENNIFER LI

Lead singer of Ember Mist, a pop-punk rock band based in Seattle, WA and fierce advocate for women’s rights

SON OF PAPER

Lyricist, storyteller, and rapper who hails from the Bay Area working to address anti-Asian violence.

LOWHI

Los Angeles-based alt-R&B/lo-fi artist working in supporting the mental health of Asian American men.

TONIE

Indie pop singer-songwriter and Brooklynite using joy to curb hate against trans people.
